Just to formalize the obvious... I've mostly shifted my bloggery to gnostix1.tumblr.com.

I fitfully update my writing blog gnostix1.wordpress.com, and entertain comments there also.

I'm on f-book. I use my muggles name there and don't publish it. But mutual friends here can direct you to me there should you have an interest, or drop me a line before this door closes for a final time.

our vintage and our provenance
seemed promising
but we were young

she was unsophisticated
somehow burned
perhaps from too much sun

and i was bruised
from too much rain
thin and lacking character

i don’t often recall
scarcely ever talk of
that sad bistro tale

i set her down as gently as i could.

Who would have guessed that vanity would be
your strongest suit, that followed by vindic-
tiveness; not merely holding grudges, prick-
ing them to new blood, relishing, pre-
senting these as rare and precious gifts…
Aren’t you a little old for these mad ad-
olescent sneering wounding ways? What sad-
ness you betray. Who is marooned in this
refusal to be reconciled? And all
this while, wondering was I anything
to you -- an escape, someone to bring
warm tea and cheering thoughts, someone to call
you on a rainy day…? If your new life
is wonderful, why do you need that knife?
